Who we are:

When people come together to make music, anything can happen — and at Pursuit of Happiness, that’s exactly what we aim for. We’re five musicians from Central NJ with different styles and backgrounds, coming together to share a love of rock music and a passion for putting on a great show. 

Formed in 2021, by seasoned musicians who have been on the Rock n Roll stage for many years,  Pursuit of Happiness has grown through lineup changes and years of collective experience to become what we are today: a band that knows how to keep a crowd smiling, dancing, and singing along. We cover the best of rock from the 1960s to today, focusing on capturing the spirit of the music and making sure everyone has a great time. 

We've been lucky to play venues of all sizes across New Jersey, including Wild Wild West at Caesars Palace in Atlantic City, Green Knoll Grill in Bridgewater, Tavern on the Lake in East Windsor, Ellery’s Pub in Middlesex, and many others.  

Our goal is to play songs people love, create a fun atmosphere, and help audiences make memories. Whether it’s a local pub, a festival, or a private party, we bring energy, good vibes, and a genuine love for what we do to every performance. At the end of the night, our biggest reward is playing to a dance floor full of happy people — because for us, that's what the Pursuit of Happiness is all about.
